This section will focus on picking up the key differences between benign and malignant lesions, rather than getting the specific diagnosis.

You will notice that Melanoma-in-situ and Dysplastic naevus are included in the malignant section. This is because the dermoscopic features of Melanoma-in-situ and Dysplastic Naevus are on a spectrum, with these conditions being milder earlier features of Melanoma Melanoma, hence why they are best grouped together.
